Midnight

I was inspired to do this tempera painting of a wolf howling at the moon by a dream catcher I have hanging in my house. The wolf on the dream catcher is very similar to the one I painted. I didn't want a plain black sky so I blended some shades of purple and blue in with the black. For the stars, I dipped a toothpick in white paint to get the effect that I wanted.
